See All of New York For $45

Advantages: An amazing idea, it allowed us to see a lot more of New York
Disadvantages: Not always spaces upstairs, Annoying and Disrespectful Tour Guides

Hey guys, I'm back. As you probably know, University didn't work out for me, I'm now taking a gap year, and joining the real world and am getting a job. Until I find a job, I'll probably be writing a lot more, so you'll be sick of me soon. Here is a review I wrote ages ago, after I came back from New York. -------------------------------------- Don?t worry; this is the last New York review that I am planning on writing, maybe. Before I went on holiday to New York, being the responsive person that I am, came up with an itinerary, making sure to include everything that we wanted. We did come up with a way of getting around New York however, but because there were barely any reviews on the subject, we assumed that it wasn?t that popular within New York and obviously not a lot of people use it. How wrong we were? On the second day ...

Review of Grey Line New York Sightseeing Bus Tours

New York, New York

Advantages: Fabulous shopping, bargains, great sights
Disadvantages: You will be tired and have foot pain at the end of the trip

Ever since I was a teenager I had always wanted to go to New York City. It was probably the influence of TV shows such as Friends and Will & Grace but since then I've always wanted to see what life in the big apple was like. There's the shopping (my number one priority!), the sights, the shows, the food, the list is endless. I was nearly 25 when I finally made it over there, as part of a family trip with my mum, dad and sister. I'd never been on an aeroplane for longer than two hours before, and I'm quite a nervous flyer, but the seven hours on Continental Flight CO21 from Manchester to Newark, New Jersey absolutely flew by (pardon the pun)! Other friends and colleagues who had travelled to America previously had said about the lines at immigration so as soon as we landed everyone was ready and we walked as fast as we ...

Review of New York City

The perfect location in New York

Advantages: Brilliant location, modern, big room, huge TV, one of the cheapest hotels
Disadvantages: Breakfast is expensive, toilet blocked a couple of times, not enough lifts

The Park Central Hotel New York is in a brilliant location on 56th and 7th right in the centre of everything. A 10 minute walk downtown brings you to Times Square, 2 blocks uptown takes you to Central Park, 5th Avenue shopping is just 1 or 2 blocks to the east and a subway station 20 seconds away to take you to wherever else you want to go. Carnegie Hall is directly opposite and the Rockefeller Centre is less than 10 minutes away. The hotel is surrounded by gift shops and cafes and there's a nice little Irish bar just opposite. The location really couldn't get any better. When we first arrived it was difficult for us for find but that was only because we didn't have a map with us and because the grid system is so confusing at first. We were walking up and down for about 20 minutes until we eventually came across it at practically ...
