...The Forest Gump soundtrack is a collection of songs from the 50's 60's and 70's. Most of which are featured in the film. Timeless classics such as Hound Dog, Fortunate Son, Mrs Robinson, San Francisco and Break on Through are included in this great soundtrack which I am proud to own! Many of the songs conjure up visions of the film to mind. One that I find the most funny is when Forest is swivelling his hips to Hound Dog! Even if you haven't seen the film I would still recommend the Forest Gump soundtrack as a compilation of classic songs....

...), which I am not a massive fan of...makes me think of cowboy boots for some reason.
I am usually someone who either likes pretty much all of the tracks on an abum, or doesn't like an album at all. But, with Magic and Medicine, this is really not the case. I think this is why I am finding it rather difficult to come to any sound conclusion about the merits of this album.
So, to make things easy, I shall simply write which tracks I like :

Milkwood Blues

Careless Hands
Pass It On
Confessions of ADDD
And the tracks which I really don't like very much:
In the Forest (A real shame, as this is the first track, therefore it doesn't give me a great impression when first listening - but I just hate the synthesised organ sound at the start)

Advantages: great tracks.brilliant lyrics. political engagement. Disadvantages: The cover: What the heck?? How lame can you get?
...: Father, Father, Father, Father, Father/ Into your hands/I/commend my spirit/Father, into your hands.” I believe this song mostly questions faith, and for that in itself deserves a bit of respect. Like I said, you are bound to either love it or truly hate it.

SOAD enlightens up the harsh/dark/gloomy atmosphere with a bit more humorous track.

LOL like I said I am not sure about what Serj was trying to say here. I pretty much nod my head and sing along to this one. The track only lasts a mere (1:44), again not exactly a long one.
