\", specially high indeed, my way around this in every country I enter is to reply, \"Ah yes, my friend, my good friend, it is many years since I have seen you! How is my wife\" this simply confuses them, and they soon go away.
Its best to hire a vehicle if you can, and avoid the death trap that comes from the roller coaster ride in some old trabant style car thats older than the drivers Granny !
One of the majorly noticeable things about this country is how many people there are, its totally packed to the brim, and overflowing too.
Aparently It is the most densely populated country in Africa.
Lagos is in the south of Nigeria, and by the coast, so, what do I do, well, no more planes for me, lets drive North, and then East a bit.
A few days down the line I came to the town of Undogo, near to Bali.
This pure cespit of a town ...
Advantages: TAKE A JOURNEY DOWN MEMORY LANE! Disadvantages: SOME SONGS MAY BE TOO OLD FOR SOME!

Now! If anyone seen this CD in the shops it would certainly not fill you with desire to purchase it.
The cover is actually a bland brown cover, with a darker brown round circle, with the words " 1970-number 1's" in the centre. The circle in the centre I presume is supposed to be a representation of the old 7inch vinyl records.
It also tells you and the CD cover in nice White letters, that amongst the artist there is, BLONDIE, SUZI QUATRO, WIZARD, T-REX, HOT CHOCOLATE, and MUD!
Not a bad line up eh?
The actual CD is white in colour, and has printed on it, number1's, 1970in a light brown as well.
I expected to see pictures of each artist inside the cover when opening it, but was disappointed to see that it only contained, the track listings.
However you can reverse it and use the other side as poster if you so desire!

Advantages: Bubbling city, pleasant places of interest Disadvantages: Traffic Jams, over populated, police!!!
It will be quite a challenge writing about this wonderful city, having lived there for many years. A very fast paced city it is and you certainly have to be tough and resilient to survive here.
Lagos was formerly the capital of Nigeria, which happens to be the most populated country in the whole of Africa. It is even said that one in every black person is a Nigerian. During the Military rule in the 80;s though, the capital was moved to Abuja, much further inland. Lagos is by the Atlantic ocean, on the south west of the country.
As any big metroplex would, it boasts of its highways, fly-overs, bridges, skyscrapers and the like. It has a population of perhaps 10million; perhaps because no one really knows the population. It tends to be more expensive than other parts of the country but virtually any large corporation that has any ...

Album Notes
For the last few decades, the pop music styles most associated with Nigeria are Juju (as purveyed by its master, King Sunny Ade, aka The Minister of Enjoyment), or Afrobeat, a mutation of Highlife made internationally popular by the great Fela Kuti. Recordings of these proud and vibrant traditions have been accessible to American listeners for years. But the sounds on the amazing Nigeria Rock Special (the third installment of the excellent Nigerian pop compilation series from the Sound Way label) are much rarer and a bit weirder. One could try and tease out the various stylistic threads tangled up on these tracks by `70s Nigerian rock bands--polyrhythmic tribal drumming, fuzzed-out psychedelic guitars, Bootsy-esque basslines--or chart the cross-pollination (is it James Brown-influenced funk, Led Zep-inspired Afrobeat, psychedelic juju...)--but it's probably best to just put it on, shut up, and dance.
