***Why watched A Nightmare on ElmStreet 3: DreamWarriors***
I originally first watched this A Nightmare in ElmStreet 1, and like many other people out there I thoroughly enjoyed the film.
The second film was released the following year, but unfortunately the film sucked and put me off watching any more sequels.
This film was introduced in 1987 (3 years after the first), but still not long enough for me to forget awful the last one was.
For once I never went straight out and rented/bought this film. The only reason I ended up watching it was my parents said it they really enjoyed it.
As they love horror films as much as me, I genuinely believe that they have the same taste in films as I do, so I gave it a go.
***The cast***
Patricia Arquette as Kristin Parker
Ken Sagoes as Kincaid
Rodney Eastman as Joey
Jennifer Rubin as ...
Advantages: Storyline evolved Disadvantages: Fredd remained cringeworthy
***Why did I watch A Nightmare on ElmStreet Number 4: The Dream Master***
I watched this film for pretty much the same reasons I normally do. I love horror films and try to watch them as soon as they come out.
With the Nightmare on ElmStreet films I especially loved part 1, part 2 I would rather have forget about and part 3 did an a excellent job of providing a film as good as part 1.
***The cast***
Tuesday Knight as Kristen
Ken Sagoes as Kincaid
Rodney Eastmen as Joey
Lisa Wilcox as Alice
Andras Jones as Rick
Toy Newkirk as Sheila
Brook Theiss as Debbie
Danny Hassel as Dan
Robert Englund as Freddy
***The story***
The story continues were the part 3 finished.
Kristin, Kincaid and Joey have all been released from Westin Hills psychiatric hospital and have settled into to living a normal life.
Kristin remains ...

First time I heard that rhyme, I must have been about 10 years old and in the school playground. It was very popular with kids at the time, even though the film is a certificate 18. From what I could gather back then, from the way that kids were trying to scare the hell out of each other while re-telling bits of the movie,Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) was a very bad and scary character from a horror movie which it seemed only the 'cool' kids of the class were either allowed to have seen or were brave enough to watch sneekily behind their parents backs.
I however, being the sort of kid that would have ...
