Advantages: Great Musical Songs.
Disadvantages: Not as good as origanal artistes.

...born 4th May 1929 died 30th January 1993 a brilliant actress best known for her appearance in this film and 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' in 1961. 'My Fair lady' is now a stage musical and Martine played the role of Eliza Doolittle so it is only fitting that this song should have a place on her CD. 8. 'Don't Rain on My Parade' from the 1968 musical 'Funny Girl' A life story about Fannie Brice and her early days in the Jewish slums on the lower east side to the height of her career with The Ziegfield Follies. The wonderful Barbara Streisand played the role of Fannie; Barbara was born on the 24th April 1942 and has become a wonderful singer/actress still going strong today. 9. Depeche Mode - Black Celebration

Advantages: Some stunning tracks, deeply moving in places
Disadvantages: Some may find it lyrically disturbing

...Basildon's finest were previously perceived as a happy tinkly pop band although some heavy hints of a future darker sound were apparant in the previous album Some Great Reward. Black Celebration was a major departure soundwise and both alienated some existing fans and attracted new ones when first released in the mid eighties. The album has a dark and largely miserable feel and also starts to focus more on the perverse (for want of a better phrase) side of Martin Gore's interests. Black Celebration opens with a track of the same name which immedietly sets the scene with a song about escaping from the misery of the daily grind of life - the black celebration being the celebration of surviving the black day. With a slow but mesmorising build up to some more bombastic elements and industrial sounds, the lyrics lay out the album... Read review

...Ø Introduction ----------------- *N Sync are back with their third album Celebrity. *N Sync’s new album follows after their debut album “N Sync” and the second album “No Strings Attached” which broke loads of records in the states for the fastest selling pop album. Like the previous albums, Celebrity uses the same sort of style in the songs but they tend to be more progressive and a bit more experimental than before with more varied beats as well as more synthesised sounds. The first song off the album and also the first release is “Pop” this song sets the feel of the album quite well. *The Songs ----------- Ø Pop. [3:57] I’m sure many of you have heard this track.
