Advantages: Great mix of popular R'n'B tunes, fast and slow Disadvantages: None
...This is a good all round R'n'B double CD. It's not typical R'n'B, but it's pop of now, with lots of club tunes, which you will be hearing in the clubs in the summer as well and which everyone's been dancing to all last year. It's got just about everybody that's known on the 2 CD's and the choice of songs are great and representative. You've got the bad boys, Timbaland, 50 Cent, Lloyd, the heart breakers, Akon, Fabolous, Ne-Yo, and last year sensations Amy Winehouse, Nelly Furtado, Gewn Stefani, Nina Sky. With tracks like, Don't Matter by Akon, Move Ya Body by Nina Sky, Dip it Low, Christina Milian, Do You by Nelly Furtado, Rehab by Amy Winehouse and so many more. This'll be a collection you'll want to get and keep of clubbing and lovers tunes, fast and slow tracks. Could put on and play at parties, listen at home, play in your car...

Advantages: Nina Simone - One of THE Voices Of Music Disadvantages: None
...Nina Simone is one of those musical artists whoes voice is instantly recognisable. This album, 'The Very Best Of Nina Simone' is a solid, well organised CV of her musical achievements. She is one of those artists who, until you recieve an album like this, you forget had so many brilliant songs.
The three tracks that leap off the 20 long song list for me are arguably three of the best American soul tracks ever. Firstly, of course, the magical 'Feeling Good' - a song that cannot be ignored. It is a pure soul track, a song that moulds the listener into a somber but content mood to begin with, then has them up on their feet singing as load as they can by the end. The second track is her religious masterpiece, Sinnerman. you can sense the faith in this track - one clearly derived from an upbringing in gospel churches. The third is 'Don...

...Fleur - Riperton, Minnie
Some superb vintage Northern soul, some lilting reggae numbers
The standout track has to be the absolutely delightful, "She's the one" by "World Party" the depth and emotion of the vocal leaves Robbie Williams looking on jealously and wishing it was him.
this track is closely followe by Barbara Acklin ( WHO ? ), managing to outdo the fabulous "Dusty springfield" on "Am I the same girl ?".
other great tracks include :-
>> splendidly funky version od he fatalistic "Use me", which was later incredibly outfunked by the Sly and Robbie/Grace Jones collaboration
>>Nina Simone's seminal big band stomper "Feeling good"
>>Classic feelgood soul from Chairmen of the board.
It almost makes you want to say, "they don't make them like that anymore"
In my opinion the most intriguing tracks are those which have seen major...
