Full review
I think that this album is definately a good one. But there are some things that I think should be taken into mind.

This album is supposed to boast the best songs that Nirvana made. Although I do not believe that this is done. There are many great songs on this album but I think that it could have had a few more of their better songs on it. For instance nowhere on this album does it have the amazing "Tourettes" or "Polly" I think that both of these are original songs that should have been on the album.

The album consists of fourteen tracks by the band including a previously unreleased song "You Know You're Right." Which incidentally is actually the first song on the album.

The second song on the album "About A Girl" was first released on the "Bleach" album. This song was written after Kurt Cobain had spent an entire afternoon listening to "Meet The Beatles"

The third song on the album "Been A Son" is a song that i think is a real masterpiece. The solo in this piece was once a bass guitar solo but was later changed due to the fact that Krist Novoselic didn't like the sound of it.

The fourth song on the album "Sliver" is another song that i really adore. The intro played on bass is what first made me interested in playing the bass guitar. It's lyrics are not as complex as some of the other songs on this album but i still love this song.

The fifth song on this album "Smells like teen spirit" is probably the most known Nirvana song. It was known as the bands anthem. Despite this fact Kurt actually wasn't really a fan of the song. He hated having to play it at every gig that they performed and the constant requests for it. I once did love this song but due to listening to it a bit more than i should have i have also started to take a disliking to this song.

The sixth song on this album "Come As You Are" was written in February 1991. In a press release from the band Kurt described the song as "an old-fashioned love song coming down in three-part harmony" It uses powerful lyrics and a simple yet powerful guitar melody. Originally this song was going to be called "Memoria" this title taken from one of the lyrics used in the song.

The seventh song on this album is "Lithium" which was first recorded on March 20th 1990. It was originally released on the band's most famous album "Nevermind".

The eighth track on this album is "In Bloom".

The ninth track on this album is "Heart-Shaped Box".

The tenth track on this album is "Pennyroyal Tea".

The eleventh track on the album is "Rape Me".

The twelth track on this album is "Dumb".

The thirteenth track on this album is "All Apologies". This track was taken from the live recordings when the band did their MTV Unplugged show.

The fourteenth track on this album is "The Man Who Sold The World". This track was taken from the live recordings when the band did their MTV Unplugged show.

The final track on this album is "Where Did You Sleep Last Night" This track was also taken from the live recordings when the band did their MTV Unplugged show.

(I plan to add more detailed information about the tracks at a later time.)

Despite this, I think that this is a must have album for any nirvana fan, or just someone looking to extend their CD collection.
