Advantages: Epic rock songs, intelligent song writing Disadvantages: Extremely experimental
...act, such an anecdote has been thrown out so often by the media that it's become a mere statement of everything we've seen before. Admittedly, there may be more than a hint of Yorke-esque wailing to Bellamy's tone, but the music that Muse have produced with Absolution is very much an artifact of their own abstract talent. Never has an album cover name been more appropriate. This is absolution.
Muse have blossomed over the last couple of years. They've been on the circuits for a relatively long time, but as performers in their mid twenties, we can hopefully look forward to bigger and better things. That said, the band will have considerable difficulty producing anything that sounds bigger than Absolution. Finding their niche quite clearly, this is one of the most exhilirating rock records of recent years. It makes just about everything...

Advantages: Excellent, loud, bouncy, mixed styles Disadvantages: Takes a couple of listens to get into it

First time I heard it I just assumed Matt was going into one, but it has grown on me a lot since. Advantages: songs such as hysteria and stockholm syndrome are timeless. Disadvantages: intro and interlude, can sometimes feel like forever.
...Released in 2003, absolution is the third studio album from the stadium filling band Muse, following the reasonable succeses of the first two albums, Absolution is by far the best, beautifully created and produced, it flows better than melted chocolate and has you gripped from the very first note.
The most popular songs such as 'butterflies and hurricanes' and 'time is running out' were made into critic squashing singles that very few could pick fault.
Reaching number 1 in the UK top 40 with this album the usually quite underground band found mainsteam success, without a cost to their epic live shows which based around this album continue to fill stadiums across the word.
if you dont already own this album you are missing out, if only on the endless potential for air guitar-ing!
