Advantages: Strangely compelling Disadvantages: A pretty dark subject
Buy one get one free offers are quite possibly the greatest invention shops have given us. For all of us, it?s a chance to get something for nothing. But for the brave, it?s a world of opportunity. After all, if you already have one thing you?d really like in your hand, something you?d willingly pay the full price for anyway and they?re offering you something else, you?re getting it for nothing. So you have nothing to lose.
It was this latter attitude that put Stuart Browne?s ?Dangerous Parking? in my hand recently. This particular buy one get one free offer was in my local Oxfam. Having chosen a book I knew I?d like, I could afford to take a chance on my other purchase. At worst, my total outlay would be about £1.50 and I already had something worth £6.00 in my hand, and something I knew I was going to enjoy. If I was going ...
Advantages: Nice feel, very sensitive, nice features Disadvantages: Could be more comfortable
To be honest, probably the thing which persuaded me to buy this most was its cheap price, and the fact that it doesn't use a trackball. Instead it uses lasers and such, to pinpoint the direction to move better.
At the time I spent about £20 using the Dabs website, and I haven't looked back since. I had just built myself a new computer, and I wanted a half decent mouse with the money I had left over, which wasn't much. I didn't really research it much either - which luckily, didn't come back to haunt me. I have loved this mouse and it has lasted me so long.
The mouse is less traditional in the sense that it no longer uses a trackball inside to aim. Instead a bright led laser is used which reflects off the surface it is being used on (currently a wooden table) and I find this is a lot more accurate. I got quite fed up ...
Advantages: lovely with cheese Disadvantages: makes you eat too much cheese!
I am very partial to a bit of cheese and the nicest way to eat it apart from on its own, is with some Jacobs Cream Crackers.
Jacobs Cream Crackers were originally created in 1885 and are currently owned/produced by United Biscuits. They are the fastest selling cracker in the UK and Jacobs is the number 1 name in crackers.
PACKAGING
++++++++++
Described briefly as there is no picture at the top. If I can find one I will add it at the end. The packaging is mostly orange, with black writing on it. There are a couple pictures of crackers on the packaging. (Just to give you an idea of what to look out for on the biscuit shelf).
LOOK OF THE CRACKER
+++++++++++++++++++++
The cracker is brown and cream in colour. It is square and about 52 by 52, about the size of a post-it note. It is slightly flatter on one side, then ...
