No Regrets - Ernie Andrews

...Well not all my mums CD's look as good as the Aerosmith one I reviewed recently and this is one I'd never of taken a look at had she not gone "Ever heard of the Walker brothers?" I asked if they were the ones who made the plane (apparently that was the Wright brothers) or Murray and his siblings, but alas no. They turned out to be a tri of brothers in a band, suprising called "The walker brothers"...though surely they should have been called "The singing brothers", just to stop confusion with brothers who actually walk. Anyway "No regrets" is a 10 song showcase of this band of singing walking talking brothers. How do the songs sound..well...lets find out. The album opens with the title track "No regrets", which begins with a sort of soft Neil Diamond feel to it (yassss Neil Diamond...I'll love this). A soft sounding american pop... Read review

...Andrew Lloyd Webbers hits and gives an interesting blog about the origins of the hits. Many of the songs are sung by famous names such as David Essex, Elaine Page, Maddona and Barbara Streisand. There is also a surprise feature of Boyzone singing No Matter What on track 19. In fact I was so impressed I am going home to listen to it again.... Read review

...notice about the album is the title and front image. The album is called "Heavy petting zoo" and the front cover shows a painting of a barn with some sheep outside. The most noticable thing on the cover is the man in the fromt left, taking up around half the cover, who is "Heavily petting" a sheep. If you know what i mean. (If not, i would look for yourself, lol) When you get inside the booklet all of the lyrics are in it. However, they are all written on various people/objects which have then been photographed, making some quite hard to read. But after a few listens you will already have a rough idea and they will be clear. Finally, the message on the back of the booklet is rather.......angry. Instead of the usual "thanks" notes NoFX have a "No thanx" section which reads as follows.... "No Thanx to: MTV - Quit bugging us... Read review
