On the critically acclaimed PRETTY TONEY ALBUM, Ghostface opened by assuring the public that the Wu-Tang family was still intact and working on new material, but not one of the Staten Island crew made an appearance on that disc. Masta Killa's defiantly titled, long-awaited debut, NO SAID DATE, features a reunion of sorts, boasting every single Wu member, and even bringing estranged cousins RZA and Ol' Dirty Bastard together on the funky "Old Man." However, before the Wu-Tang gang starts making cameos en masse, Masta Killa reminds listeners that he didn't wait this long because he lacks talent of his own, and he opens the album with four strictly solo tracks. From the hazy funk of "Grab the Microphone," Killa launches into the brash, RZA-produced title track, which deftly turns the long-time-coming nature of the release on its ear ("'When ya droppin' No said date premeditated, calculated"). A welcome first outing by an often-overlooked Wu-Tang member, NO SAID DATE is a notable release for both Masta Killa and the entire Wu-Tang unit.

They have huge links with the rock scene in USA ever since Bam Magera (which many of you will remember from Jackass or CKY) fell in love with their music, he now organises tours with the band, appears at gigs, directs music videos and promotes the band at any opportunity possible moment. They have released 4 albums over the years and each one has been awesome, so early this year (2004) their first greatest hits was released (with a few new songs on it), called ?And Love SaidNo?.

HIM

HIM are a band that many people have not heard of, yet their music is amazing. HIM is one of my favourite bands and when I got their latest greatest hits CD ?and love saidno? for Christmas I thought it was about time I did a review on them.
HIM describe their music as ?love metal? and that truly is the best description it could be given.
HIM consists of five members (all from Finland); Ville Valo writes most of the songs and does the vocals, Gas plays the drums, Burton plays the keyboards, Midge plays guitar and Linde is on guitar. The name ?HIM? stands for ?His Infernal Majesty? HIM released their first album back in 1997 and are still going strong.

Advantages: comical elements Disadvantages: nothing extraordinary
...While there is nothing impressive or extraordinarily romantic in The Wedding Date, it is a movie which I would recommend for some light entertainment and just the right dash of romance. Starring Debra Mesisng and Dermot Mulroney, the plot is about a single woman who is invited to her parent's home for the wedding of her little sister. However, catastrophe arises when Kat (Mesisng) realizes that her ex fiancé would be attending the wedding too. Not wanting to lose face in front of him, Kat does the one thing possible: She hires Nick (Dermot Mulroney), a male escort to accompany her to the wedding and pose as her boyfriend. The thing is, Nick is even more attractive than she anticipated...
If you read my previous reviews, you will see that for me, the two most important elements in a movie remain the acting and the "feel good factor...
