It certainly helps that Coltrane has with her musicians who are no strangers to innovation - Pharaoh Sanders, Charlie Haden, Cecil McBee - and here they are expanding their musical horizons even further. What this definitely is not is musical tourism. It's driven by a strong spiritual belief system and musical integrity. Advantages: Pure joy for Charlie and Lola fans, both children and parents alike
Disadvantages: The track 'Bat Cat' does not go on long enough.

...If you are fed up of nursery rhymes, pop or childrens stories on car journeys and have a Charlie and Lola fan this CD is fantastic for them and you. It has saved us from hell on many a car trip, for the pure sillyness and fun of the songs and lyrics. The CD combines out takes from the TV series of Charlie and Lola talking, with music from the show, and tracks I haven't heard before. Highlights include, 'The bestest in The Barn' which has the lyrics on the inner sleeve (and apparently you can watch the video by loading the CD in your computer, but I haven't tried this yet), 'Germs' which has the best bug noises you will ever hear (I challenge you not to laugh), and 'Bat Cat' which is pure genius. ...stadium arcadium another great master-piece to add to the chili peppers great musical empire. such songs as hump-de-bump, charlie, dani california and warlocks provide serious musical enjoyment with amazing grooves and a lively feel. There is something for everyone in stadium arcadium. the album art featured in the lyrics booklet along with band photos are interesting and eye- catching. the bass is outstanding through out this album and front man kiedis does not disappoint with strong vocals. john provides a great variety of amazingly flashy solos and beautiful riffs for the listener. chad smith does his thing on the drums and it all sounds perfect. weather you want to chill out and listen to something calm and relaxing or you want to get up and rock this album has got it all and more....
