Advantages: A strong central performance from Marion Cotillard. Disadvantages: A confusing narrative structure and a lack of sweet to temper the bitter.
striking though her voice was I have always found her rather grandiose and a tad melodramatic. However, you cannot fault the quality of the recordings, whether she was singing solo or backed by a full orchestra, you can hear every syllable and sigh as it was intended. From ?Les Enfants de la Cloche? to the iconic ?JeNeRegretteRien? there are plenty of recognisable tunes here. Christopher Gunning?s original score fills the gaps with booming brass, serious piano refrains and lots of accordion lest we forget the film is terribly French. He fits the music to the mood, though his use of music box-mimicking piano motifs during her childhood tragedies feels a little clichéd.
?La Vie En Rose? is certainly no bed of roses. The writing and direction let the Piaf?s story down by focussing on the tragedies to almost the exclusion of the triumphs. It ...
Advantages: Consistent Disadvantages: A couple of tunes let it down
Jagged Edge came out with their second album, "J.E Heartbreak" in 2000, three years after debuting in 1997 with "A Jagged Era". The Atlanta quartet: Brasco, Case Dinero, Quick and Wingo came back with even more of their high-quality, soulful R&B with the aid of Jermain Dupri as the hypeman for the club tunes, and producer pretty much throughout.

Personally, I didn't think that this was the bst way to start things off, especially when you compare it to later tracks on the album. Jermaine Durpi (JD) gets a chance to show off his stop-start beats from the start of this one, and it allows them to really try to get all they can out of it, but there's something about it which holds it back and keeps it at the same level throughout.
**Three Stars**
3. "He Can't Love U"
This one was the first ...
Advantages: couple of really good mind blowing tracks, very catchy lyrics and memorizing songs to match Disadvantages: a few not so good mind blowing tracks that don't stand out as much
Ne-Yo has certainly come along way in his music career because at the tender age of just 28 the singer/songwriter has had great success within the music industry what with having 3 successful albums under his belt and writing music for some other artists such as Rhianna and Beyonce. Year of the Gentleman is Ne-Yo's 3rd album which was recorded in 2007-2008 the album was then released in September 2008. IT received considerable amount of commercial success and sales and is still doing well in the charts at present.
I have been a big fan of ne-yo and his music for as long as I can remember and have bought all of his albums. I think that the year of the gentleman is a nice album as he never lets his fans down by putting in a lot of effort and creativity into this album and you can easily tell by his songs and by the album cover ...
