Melanie C has come a long way since her Spice Girl days, she now has a new image and a new sound. When she first started her solo project, I thought it would never work and that all she was, was a "spice" girl trying to make it big. These opinions continued when she released "Going Down". But when she released "Northern Star", I realised that I had totally underestimated her. This song really inspired me. Mel C has a lovely voice which she can be proud of and a great new image. She knows how to make a video too! Since Northern Star, she has come a long way and has released a medley of lovely tracks which most people will aspire to. Who would have thought though that an ex-spice girl would be able to produce such a lovely sound like this. Northern Star is a really great, original song which kicked off a fabulous solo career for her.
