Advantages: A good mixture of covers Disadvantages: Not enough songs!
Madness in the their latter years somewhat lost touch, and lost their connection with their roots. Everything that made them who they were in the late part of the 70's had all but gone by as early as 1981. But 2005 saw Madness take a welcomed return to those roots we all missed. However it wasn't with new writings or recordings. It was covers of those bands that helped create them. The Dangermen Sessions - Volume 1. From the soulfulness of The Supremes - You Keep Me Hanging On to the roots reggae of Bob Marleys' - So Much Trouble In The World. Not to mention covers of The Kinks, Desmond Dekker and of course, probably the man who played the biggest influence on Madness. . . . Prince Buster. This CD is a must have for any Madness fan. ...
Advantages: Feel the love for family Disadvantages: Bitter sweet memories
The following poem is written by me for the love of my family.I hope you'll like it.
NOSTALGIA
I wish I could go back
to the time long gone;
to the moments of peace,
to the quiet reflections
frozen in my mind,
engraved on my soul.
Ocean of tears,
thunders of laughter,
jumping on the bed
all day long,
cries of my mother
when we broke her vase,
smiles of my father
when we say good night.
Me and my brother
sleeping hand in hand.
Laughter and joys,
anger and cries,
loving and caring,
going on trips.
I finally depart them
when I got married.
My bro left for States
and got married too.
I became a mother
of my children too.
Now I look at my Mom
and Dad with pride;
I wish I could go back
to the world all gone.
I am happy in my life,
others are too;
but for once I just wish
to live in my memories
Thanks ...

Advantages: It will make you dreamy eyed with nostalgia. Disadvantages: Toothpaste not included. You may bore others with tales of the 70s.
and quite delicious (to my tastebuds at least), but which is guaranteed to produce a spasm of revulsion in the next person you speak to at close range - the packet should have a health warning saying brush your teeth after use. It could even come with a little minaiture toothbrush.
The new packets of Mega Monster Munch flew off the shelves of my local newsagent when they first came out, even retailing at 80p a packet. I have seen them for as little as 50p - still more expensive than your average crisps, but when you consider you are getting 40g of the stuff, that is pretty reasonable. (Normal packets of monster munch weigh in at a tiddly 25g).
Normally crisps are aimed at children, but these are aimed fairly and squarely at adults. The nostalgia factor works, bringing back reminiscences of school dinners and making you sigh for the days ...
