...KD Lang's new album is a rich, melodic feast making good use of her excllent range. On first hearing I found it slightly inaccessible, but after four or five passes, it is addictive, a genuine grower. I started to realise that a couple of these songs have already been in the background for a while. There is nothing here with quite the range of, say, Black Coffee, but what is there makes a more integrated album than before. With this album has ventured into lands occupied by the brat pack of young female singer songwriters and showed them how good they might be when they have grown up. :-)... Read review

...Of all the bands to go mainstream I would never have placed Atreyu as one of them. This album is nothing like their old ones is by far their poorest album. This album is geared towards teenagers who listen to the emo genre. If you liked Atreyu's old stuff, then give 36 Crazyfists a try, they keep to their roots and have a similar style to Atreyu. The songs on this album all sound similar and there is little to none of Atreyu's trademark screaming. This album is very listenable to, but it just wasn't what i wanted. Stick to their old albums and hopefully in the future we will see a return to form. On a whole I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with this album but because its a band I used to love I still had to give this album a 2/5... Read review
