Advantages: Lots of bangers Disadvantages: A few tunes let it down
Unfortunately, the relevance of the title to The NotoriousB.I.G.?s second album wasn?t realised until it was competed, and her was killed just two weeks before it was planned to be released. The record came out regardless of the tragedy which surrounded it with the artist in question murdered, but this seems to have boosted it as an even bigger-selling one with it reaching Diamond sales and topping the charts. It is a double-album and the final official release from him.
Disc 1:
1. ?Life After Death? (Intro)
2. ?Somebody?s Gotta Die?
To start this one off you find him blazing through with some hardcore lyrics to show exactly what he wants to do on this one. It is powerful work and it takes from the introduction, which explained where things were left off on his debut album where he ?died?. He seems to take on the sort of style he ...
Advantages: Lots of bangers Disadvantages: Nothing specific
"Ready To Die" came as the debut album from The NotoriousB.I.G. in 1994. The album took all the attention off the West Coast Rap scene which had quickly managed to take over popularity from the roots in New York with the big solo debuts from Snoop Doggy Dogg and Dr. Dre. The Bronx native burst through with his own personal take on the Gangsta Rap scene, and comes with something fresh and hardcore for the Hip Hop world.
1. "Intro"
2. "Things Done Changed"
The opening track on the album has Big coming out and rapping in a blaze as he describes how far things have advanced since the seveties, and how differen society has become since the decade of his birth. It sets the record up for the rest of the thing as he gets right into the hardcore rhymes without having to explain where he has come from.
**Five Stars**

Album Notes
Despite a massive roster of engineers, mixers, and producers, the NOTORIOUS soundtrack is a remarkable capsule synopsis of the legendary the Notorious B.I.G.'s career. Every big hit is here, be it "Juicy," "Hypnotize," or "Warning," and they're all left mercifully unfettered by unnecessary remixes or new vocal contributions. Also included are a few new, tasteful posthumous collaborations, like the Santogold-spiced "Brooklyn Go Hard." But it's the totally raw, utterly early-'90s New York street demos of "Microphone Murder" and "Gangster Raw" that blow this collection's value out of the water, and make it an essential part of B.I.G.'s bulletproof canon.
