This is a mixed cd with 41 tracks spanned over two disks. On th first disk there are 21 songs.
1- Atomic Kitten with whole again. This is a ballad but differs from your standard one. There is a beat in the background throughout. In some parts they almost speak the words but not quite. Up until this song all their songs had been fast upbeat ones. By releasing this they showed that they can do different still and were awarded with no1 slot.
2- Hear'say - pure and simple. This is the debut single from the most talked about group in ages. There is no escaping them as they went through the show popstars. That helped them to become household names before they released the song. It is a ctachy tune that sticks in your mind and will have you singing it. I think these will appeal more to the younger listener but all the same it is a good song.
3- S Club 7- Never had a dream come true. I love this song it is a classic ballad that was released just before christmas and hit no1. Many people say they only have a kiddy audience but I think the songs are happy and cheerful, most being real party songs but this showed that they are successful with ballads aswell.
Britney spaers- Stronger. This is a powerful song from here but I dont think it is one of her best. It is fast but she strains her voice in this and makes it sound weird in some parts
Steps- its the way you make me feel. I love this song it is a classic ballad that has a dramatic edge to it. The end is like a stage musical where they slow down almost like in summer nights from Grease where they declare their love. This should have been a number 1 but unfortunately only got to no2 after it was released a week early and no one knew about it then the week after it had to make up for it.
Emma Bunton- what took you so long. A catchy tune which was more successful than her first song by reaching no1. Taking a country girl feel to this video she let her innocent appearance shine through and showed that she was also a spice success too.
Bob the Builder with can we fix it. This christmas number one ahd to get in there. Bob and all his mates down at the site took part in singing about they love to mend things. This catchy but to some irritating song was a massive hit with the kids and parents, taken from the hit childrens show.
Robbie Williams- let love be your energy. This being his latest release is a tune that stays in your mind like all his other songs. The video for this was classed as x rated eve though it was all done in cartoon form of him and a girl, so a pre watershed version had tobe prepared. Well thats Robbie for you will do anything to shock.
Melanie B- feels so good. The other spice girl on this album uses a mixture of pop and rnb in this song. Going from fast to slow the chorus gets you moving and sticks in your head.

Overall on this cd there is something for everyone. As usual there is a mixture of good and bad songs on there but enough good to keep you occupied. Priced at £14.99 for a cd and £10.99 for a tape this is great value for money.

Great opinions in term of detail. I don't buy the Now album but I always listen to them and, if you can ignore the poor songs, it is a good album
