...This is a greatest hits album of sorts, so it’s no surprise that when this was in my CD player I didn’t skip a single track. If you remember the songs from the “When Harry Met Sally” soundtrack, you’ll know a few of the songs on this CD. Anyone who loves big band or jazz music can’t afford to be without “Forever For Now.” Harry Connick, Jr.’s vocals are on top form and you can almost feel the energy of the band when the music is playing. One of my favourite tracks, “Little Clown,” is a quiet piano solo performed sensitively by Harry Connick, Jr. It is one of the quieter moments in an album which is full of life....

Advantages: Motorhead, pure classic metal, fun to listen to Disadvantages: Possibly a bit outdated for today's younger metal fans
...EVERYBODY knows Motorhead. And I mean EVERYBODY. They are THAT big, and they were THAT influential. Lemmy is probably one of the most respected men in rock, and has been for the last thirty years: just as Motorhead have been one of the biggest names in rock for thrity years. So it's fitting then, that a good selection of their back catalogue, be available on one disc.
Opening track: "The Ace of Spades". My least favourite Motorhead track due to its being over-played, but by far, their most famous. So it goes without saying that this will be included on any Motorhead compilation. Suh a simple track, but gets such a great response. Sounds as good every time you hear it.
Other Motorhead classics included are: "Iron Fist", "I Got Mine", "Overkill", "Bomber" and "The Chase Is Better Than The Catch". They don't make 'em like this anymore...

Advantages: Loads of fantastic songs Disadvantages: not as good as Andrew's Manics tape
...like the Manics even more, and I played the tape so much that it's getting a bit worn out in places.
In addition to the fact that I missed my mates, pubs, and London's parks and museums, I was becoming more and more disturbed by my government's policies. President George W. Bush was doing something that horrified me almost every day. The Manics refer to 'America, the Devil's Playground' on 'Baby Elian,' so I felt a bit subversive every time I listened to their music.
Unfortunately, 'Forever Delayed' is not as good a representation of the Manics' best work as Andrew's tape is. For the most part, their most extreme songs wouldn't get radio play, and 'Forever Delayed' is a Greatest Hits collection. It is, in a word, softer than the Manics really are, with a few exceptions: 'Faster,' 'Motown Junk,' 'You Love Us,' and 'The Masses...
