Now That We've Found Love - Third World

Advantages: A couple of hits. Strong vocals throughout
Disadvantages: Tries too hard to do things out of his range

..."Lessons In Love" is Lloyd (Polite)'s, third album. From my perspective, it has been his most anticipated as he came with some big singles since his debut "Southside" to give us "Get It Shawty", "You", and big singles from this album. Something which sets this one apart from the other two albums is that he has been getting a lot of UK airtime before the release with "How We Do It", which features Ludacris, and the compulsory Lil' Wayne contribution on "Girls Around The World". 1. "Sex Education" I found this to be a good way to start the album, but not something which really eases you into his music. ...on this compilation CD because I dont like the lyrics and tune. It is a fairly ubeat song but the lyrics are pretty bad. (0/5) 18 ~ LET ME THINK ABOUT IT - FREDDE LE GRANDE IDA CORR "You Say You Wan't Me, You Say You Need Me" This song starts off with an upbeat instrumental then the tompo speeds up when the vocals start. i think that this is a fab dance tune with great lyrics, voive and beat. (5/5) 19 ~ I FOUND YOU - MAX C AXWELL "I never really had a love... 'til I found you, Sent from heaven up above... and it's so true" This is a mid tempo song with a fairly good beat to it. ...JIMMY EAT WORLD FUTURES 2004 ----------------------------- Jimmy Eat World are one of those bands that nobody knew for years then suddenly they have a breakthrough album and suddenly they are in everyone’s cd collection. Well they are back again with a new album, and a bit of a new sound. The band formed way back in 1993, and did some tours released some Ep’s and just generally gained a small fan base. In 1994 they released their debut album, which was self titled and released on a small Indie label. After this the band was quickly signed up to Capitol Records, and released second album ‘Static Prevails’ in 1996. This was a very rough, quite punky affair which had its moments but ultimately was a slight let down. On to 1999 and the bands third album ‘Clarity’, and here we see the band sounding completely different... Read review
