The 49th edition of one of the most famous uk compilations is upon us, jammed packed with '41 Top Chart Hits', but is it worthy of ur hard earned cash???.

This version is like every other, has around twenty songs on two discs, featuring the latest tunes from the biggest bands.

Although this and previous incarnations are always around a month off for the latest hits, they do only feature the best possible available.

Disc one has some sleeper hits like Robbie william's Eternity, Blink 182's The Rock Show and Zero 7's Destiny but mostly catchy tunes that stay at the top of pops the longest as well as blasted out at fridays karaoke, such as, Atomic Kitten's Eternal Flame, Geri Halliwell's remake of Its Raining Men and the multi million selling Wheatus's Tennage Dirtbag.(Full listings at the end of the op).

Disc two features a few smaller bands records like, a*Teens's Upside Down but is mostly packed with great club tunes like the excellent Another Chance by Roger Sanchez and Ian Van Dahl's Castles in The Sky.

Now 49, like previous releases features the best pop, rock and club tunes available.I can't recommend this enough especially if you are like myself who doesn't follow any main bands but just likes the best of the best.
