I recently got Now That's What I Call Music! 68 as a small gift for my birthday and have to say I haven't stopped playing both CD's ever since. The album is a compilation of the latest singles released in the charts over the past couple of months. The CD also varies in the type of music, with both indie and pop, although the majority is pop songs. Now! Cassettes and CD's have been around for a long time and I remember the first cassette I bought was Now That's What I Call Music! 35 with songs such as Hanson on it. This particular album was only released on November 19th 2007 so is very new to the album chart and is the 68th edition (UK).

The album consists of two CD's with disc one having 22 tracks and disc two having 22 tracks as well. At the moment my favourite disc is disc one as there are more of my favourite songs on this CD than disc two, however, disc two is certainly good as well.

Disc One Track Listing:

1. Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love: I love this song by Leona. It is the first single to be released by Leona from her album, Spirit. The song shows real emotion and describes six different stages that couples go through in relationships such as breaking-up, getting together etc. I think Leona has an amazing song and have bought her album which is fantastic. I have also written a review on this album if you would like to know more.

2. Take That - Rule the World: This isn't one of my favourite songs by Take That. I think they were fantastic when they were together for the first time but am not as keen on their music now. The song is still good however it can be a little bornig and repetitive. The song has actually been taken from the film Stardust, which I haven't seen. Take That wrote the song for the film after being contacted by the Director. The song is a love song like many of Take That's and is not actually available on their current album but wil be released in their deluxe version.

3. Kylie Minogue - 2 Hearts: I think Kylie is a brilliant singer with an absolutely amazing voice. What is good about Kylie is the fact that her songs are varied, she does upbeat songs as well as downbeat. This song is quite upbeat but I can't say this is one of my favourite songs by Kylie as I find it to be quite repetitive too.

4. Mark Ronson featuring Amy Winehouse - Valerie: - I love this song! I think Amy has a fantastic voice and I love her music. The song is extremely catchy and is great when you're on a night out. "Why don't you come on oveeeer…. Vallleeeeerie!!!" The song was first sang by the Zutons.

5. Sugababes - About You Now: This is another personal favourite on the album. I think Sugababes have released some great singles recently and this is one of my favoruite. I think the song is about a girl breaking up with her boyfriend but then she realises she has made a mistake and does love him and is trying to get him back. The song is emotional but not too sad. The song is also very similar to other songs written by Sugababes.

6. Kanye West - Stronger: I think this song is really catchy. It isn't one of my favoruites but I don't mind it too much. The song is the second single released from Kanya West's latest album. The song is upbeat and features a sample of Daft Punks song Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.

7. Craig David - Hot Stuff (Let\'s Dance): This song is extremely catchy! I think it's a great song to listen to if you're getting ready to go out for the night. It is upbeat and dancy.

8. Sean Kingston - Beautiful Girls: I quite like this song. The song is about a guy who is sucidal after his relationship has failed with a "beautiful girl."

9. Shayne Ward - No U Hang Up: I love Shayne Ward and think his music gets better & better. This song is extremely catchy and has a tendency to stick in your head!

10. Timbaland feat. D.O.E, Sebastian & Keri Hilson - \"The Way I Are\": I tend to like most of Timbaland's songs as they are pretty catchy and good when you are on a night out. The base in this song has been modified slightly from Justin Timberlake's My Love and Sexy Back. Both of Justin's songs were incredibly catchy so you can imagine this one is too! The song also featured in a McDonald's advert in 2007. I like this song because it is catchy and great to get you in the mood before going out in town.

11. Britney Spears - \"Gimme More\": I love Britney Spears - especially her old music. This was a great comeback song although it isn't as good as her previous songs back in the days when her career was doing extremely well. The song is another catchy tune and another great one for a night out.

12. Rihanna - \"Shut Up and Drive\": I think Rihanna has a great voice. I like this song as it is quite upbeat and cheerful.

13. Girls Aloud - \"Sexy! No No No...\": I just LOVE Girl's Aloud and have their latest album. This isn't one of their best but is still a good one to listen to. I do get quite bored of this song as I think it is a bit repetitive. I think their songs are more upbeat and dancy than they used to be and their songs are brilliant for girly days in and out.

14. Robyn with Kleerup - \"With Every Heartbeat\": Initially, I loved this song but now it has become quite irritating! I've heard it a lot recently. The song is upbeat and downbeat at the same time.

15. Enrique Iglesias - \"Tired of Being Sorry\": I think this song is okay but a lot of Enrique's songs are very similar so there is no real change to the kind of song released. Enrique's song's tend to be love related, as this one is.

16. Groove Armada feat. Mutya Buena - \"Song 4 Mutya (Out of Control)\": This is not a personal favourite of mine at all as I find it boring and repetitive.

The next six songs below are not my favourites at all. I find them all a bit too repetitive and I personally prefer cheesy music such as Gimmie More, Shut up and Drive etc as above.

17. Se:Sa feat. Sharon Phillips : \"Like This Like That\"

18. Ida Corr vs. Fedde Le Grand : \"Let Me Think About It\"

19. Axwell feat. Max\'C : \"I Found U\"

20. The Freaks : \"The Creeps (Get On The Dancefloor)\"

21. Peter Gelderblom : \"Waiting 4 (Hi_Tack UK Radio Edit)\"

22. David Guetta feat. Chris Willis & Joachim Garraud : \"Love Is Gone\"

Disc Two Track Listing

1. Plain White T\'s : \"Hey There Delilah\"

2. James Blunt : \"1973\"

3. Newton Faulkner : \"Dream Catch Me\"

4. The Hoosiers : \"Worried About Ray\"

5. Scouting For Girls : \"She\'s So Lovely\"

6. Feist : \"1234\"

7. Phil Collins : \"In The Air Tonight\"

8. Avril Lavigne : \"When You\'re Gone\"

9. McFly : \"The Heart Never Lies\"

10. Amy MacDonald : \"Mr Rock & Roll\"

11. KT Tunstall : \"Hold On\"

12. The Killers feat. Lou Reed : \"Tranquilize\"

13. Stereophonics : \"It Means Nothing\"

14. Peter Bjorn and John feat. Victoria Bergsman : \"Young Folks\"

15. Freemasons feat. Bailey Tzuke : \"Uninvited\"

16. Mika : \"Big Girl (You Are Beautiful)\"

17. Amy Winehouse : \"Tears Dry On Their Own\"

18. Jennifer Lopez : \"Do It Well\"

19. Fergie : \"Big Girls Don\'t Cry\"

20. Akon : \"Don\'t Matter\"

21. Nicole Scherzinger feat. will.i.am : \"Baby Love\"

22. Westlife : \"Home\"

The songs I personally like above include Amy Winehouse, Fergie and Westlife as I personally think Disc One is much better. The other songs are either not my type or I fnid them boring or repetitive.

I think this album is excellent as it is extremely varied and there is no doubt a few songs that everyone will enjoy. I think this CD will be a great hit this Christmas with people of all ages and sexes. The album is available in HMV, Virgin and other stores and costs between £10.00 and £18.00.
