In the modern day of music downloads this CD is becoming less and less widely bought. Part of the problem is that by the time this comes out the charts have rolled over and you are bored of the songs on this CD as they have been overplayed. The CD industry is in decline not only due to downloads but also to piracy and although this CD has some good tracks on it, it cannot keep up with the constantly changing times. So if you fancy songs that are a month or two old, then this is the CD for you. However for those of us who like to stick with the times, continue using the many download services, they are much better.

I agree with what you say about the Now series, alot of the songs are over played, as their big chart hits and we might well be fed up of them by the time their available in such a compilation CD and yeah downloads are also v. popular but im sure they will keep on making such CDs for a while to come, plus you can download compilations like this in digital form too, I believe. I have a couple of Now compilations I got in the late 90s but I dont listen to too much chart stuff anymore, I must be getting old that now I hardly know whats number 1 anymore unless its mentioned on a breakfast TV show or it says when I ocassionally have a music channel on lol
However, it doesnt really say much about what you get when you buy the CDs though. To get better ratings, you should at least include the track listing, maybe include an indication as to what kind of tempo or otherwise the type of song each track is, for anyone who isnt familiar with any of the tracks (like straight pop, pop/rock, hip hop or whatever), that sort of thing, then you'll get better ratings. Have a look at other peoples reviews of similar compilation albums/CDs for ideas on what gets them better ratings... I hope this helps!
