Advantages: easy to apply, lasts ages, flawless Disadvantages: they dont make one for the whole body
Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs has got to be one of my favourite beauty products of all time, and I am actually surprised that it has taken this long to write a review about it.
~About the product~
This is a product designed to spray onto your legs to give an airbrushed finish. It will cover imperfections, veins and scars, and add a subtle hint of colour. It contains vitamin K, and is weightless and optically slimming.
The product is available in four shades- light glow, medium glow, tan glow and deep glow. One thing to note though, this is not a fake tan, it is simply make-up for the legs, although if you're very pale like me, you might find that even the lightest shade gives you a hint of colour.
~Packaging~
The product comes in an aerosol can, similar in size and appearance to a body spray can. The colour of the can will ...
Advantages: shorter and more accesible than some of her works. Disadvantages: not as deep or realistic as some works by Eliot.
Silas marner is one of George Eliot's shorter works, and in my opinion is not one of her stronger pieces - the first half is excellent and full of dark realism but in the second half she seems to succumb to Victorian sentimintality.
The Story: Silas marner is a grim solitary figure who arrives in a vilage and sets himself up as a weaver. He remains isolated and uncommunicative, but it becomes known that he is a miser. The local Squire has two sons, one of whom is openly dreadful - gambling, horse riding and generally being a cad. He vanishes mysteriously nmot long after Silas looses his gold. The older son is even worse, pretending to be moral and upstanding ...
Advantages: eggs, interesting pets, fertilise your garden, Disadvantages: take a lot of care, smell, they only lay for 4 years
I am not a big chicken fan apart from when its part of my Sunday roast. However, upon moving to the country my mum decided to turn her garden into something that strongly resembles 'The Good Life'. With various vegetable patches and a herb garden, the next logical step was apparently chickens!!
Purchasing the ChickensChickens vary massively in cost and with so many options, we eventually settled on purchasing a kind of "package" which included the chicken house, run and three chickens for around £390. This seems like a lot of money to me but apparently not seeing as most chicken houses (the properly built ones that foxes cant get into) cost around this anyway. The house and run that we purchased was the 'eglu' which is sold by a company called Omlet and is easy to clean and a good secure design too. It took a week or so ...
