Damien Rice 'O' is an accoustic based album, using violins and simple drum patterns. It is a very chilled listening experience with a few depressing moments thrown in along the way. It has the feel of a journey to it.

1. Delicate - The opening track is very quiet, as the name suggests, it has a very chilled feel to it, makes me feel sleepy.

2. Volcano - The violins and bass are beautiful in this song, my favourite along with blowers daughter. Really dynamic after the quiet start to the album.

3. The Blower's Daughter - This track makes me feel sad when i listen. Its a love track, i'm guessing based around the 19th century, about a navy generals daughter and her falling in love, makes me reminiss about being younger again.

4. Cannonball - The big single off the album, everyone will have heard this track but it still has a real quality to it, its what made me go and buy the album.

5. Older Chests - This is a very unusual track, i don't quite understand is completely but seems to make the album run smoothly, it feels like it should be there but you don't quite know why.

6. Amie - This is another love song, i used to listen to this one on repeat after i split up with my ex. Is a beautiful track, which has an innocent feel to it.

7. Cheers Darlin' - Nice track to lead up to the end. Only hardcore Damien Rice fans would appreciate this one i think.

8. Cold Water - Unusual but really good. Draws me in whenever i listen to it. This track slows the album back down to bring it an end.

9. I Remember - Female vocalist mainly sung track. I think this is a really good track to end up an album. Really simplistic but also really involving.

10. Eskimo - I think it is a bit of a shame they ended the album with this song, it was a waste of space on the CD, i wouldn't recomend listening to it unless you dislike Damien Rice and want to laugh at him.

Overall this is a great album and for people who like accoustic or soppy love music then this is your man. Has a great ability and a way with making strings flow so nicely. Musicians will appreciate.
This CD cost me £10 when it came out, it will now be much more readily available at a much lower cost.
