Objection Overruled - Accept

Advantages: It's great! It's mad! It even has a couple of guitars on it...
Disadvantages: Should have featured Humph and the band playing Mornington Crescent!

Advantages: Beautiful music that weaves its way into ones soul
Disadvantages: I want more - 50 minutes is not enough!

...When Michael Nyman is constrained by moviemakers' demands he produces his most melodic, and commercial, work. His wilder excesses are tamed and his penchant for irritatingly and endlessly repeating a few notes until the listener screams for release is over-ruled. 'The Claim' soundtrack is a new classic and offers a prime example of Nyman's flowing and uplifting themes winding and twisting together. Orchestra led, with violins mostly to the foreground carrying the melody while the piano keeps the beat, occasionally surfacing with a theme to be picked up later. Thirty-seven musicians are listed in this incarnation of The Michael Nyman Orchestra, twenty-eight in the string section alone. Advantages: The Look Good and are commercial
Disadvantages: Gets tedious after a while

...NOTE: This album is under the wrong category. I've emailed Ciao so it should be moved soon. It is NOT a Vanessa Mae album. The bands name is "Bond" and the album is called "Born". I supposed this should be filed under classical, but that’s a bit of a point of discussion… Several months ago there was a bit of a commotion when the album “Born” by “Bond” was banned from the classical charts because it wasn’t classical. The attitude of the Bond camp was they had been unfairly victimised because they were young girls and the suits didn’t like this vivacious youthful quartet storming their environs. After all Vanessa Mae had been accepted , despite appearing in very little clothing on the covers of some of her album, Nigel Kennedy was accepted despite his “yobbo, football supporter”...
