Tracks
‘’’Way Away 5/5’’’
The start of this track is brilliant, The vocals are superb and when you listen to it you can hear the punkiness in it. When I first heard the electric violins I was quite confused…why would a pop punk band use violins? Well after I heard it I was very impressed.
‘’’Breathing 5/5’’’
I love this track, the violins really give it a place. The vocals go well with the beat and rhythm. This is a track that really gets your attention. Its not got a fast tempo but it isn’t slow either.
‘’’Ocean Avenue 5/5’’’
This was the first track I ever heard by Yellowcard, I heard it from an old friend I used to hang out with at the park, he played it all the time…I didn’t like it at first but it grew on me. Its got a catchy beat and some great lyrics, that are easy to memorise. The chorus is extremely catchy and is one of those that get stuck in your head.
‘’’Empty Apartment 4/5’’’
I like this track a lot but it’s a little bit depressing. I think it great to listen to if your feeling lonely or whatever but I just like listening to it because the vocals are great as are the rhythm and beat.
‘’’Life Of A Salesman 5/5’’’
The tempo is fast and the beat and vocals are very catchy, this track kind of reminds me of Blink 182’s younger days where they had very fast tempos but you would always love the song.
‘’’Only One 5/5’’’
Its not fast, but it is amazing, some awesome vocals and lyrics, I have been listening to this track a lot lately and I have no idea why…I personally feel that this song is one of the best they have ever done, but that’s just me…you should youtube and see for yourself.
‘’’Miles Apart 5/5’’’
The start again reminds me of Blink 182…but you can tell the difference when you hear the violins. Dead catchy track, another track I listen to a lot, Lyrics are great and are easy to remember.
‘Twentythree 4/5’’’
This is a great track and has somewhat of a country side to it at the beginning and the bridges. I love the rhythm and beat they get my foot tapping…its like an infectious disease. This track has one of the best beats ever out of all the stuff they have done.
‘’’View From Heaven 5/5’’’
This track starts of with a country feel to it, The vocals are amazing with a great set of backing vocals in it too. I love the beat, I spent my free lessons in school learning it for two weeks =].
‘’’Inside Out 5/5’’’
The track is awesome, great bass line that is very audible compared to most bass lines in their other tracks. Vocals/ Lyrics are great, fit really well with the beat. Violins immense rhythm actually caught my full attention in this one like the third time of listening to it.
‘’’Believe 5/5’’’
This track was wrote with something to do about the 9/11, it is an amazing song and one of the most listened to on my Ipod. Vocals and Lyrics are amazing…It is actually an inspiring song and leaves you in awe.
‘’’One Yeaar Six Months 5/5’’’
Great acoustic start and continues through out the track, kind of reminds me a little of the beatles when the vocals begin, The acoustic guitar consistently amazing with a light beat ends and your left wanting the song to carry on.
‘’’Back Home 4/5’’’
This is a nice track to end on, Great vocals and rhythm. You are left wanting more. There isn’t really much else I can say about this because I love the song so much I actually did get bored of it.
All together it is a great album, I love it and I do recommend it to anyone.
Advantages: There is a track for everyone on this album. All have different sounds Disadvantages: Some weak links. One of the songs remind me of a Good Charlotte song
