Advantages: Brilliant album from a class Indie artist, with wry, thought provoking lyrics
Disadvantages: A bit eccentric for some tastes

"New Wave" as a result of this, but in reality leader Luke Haines should never have felt the need to attach himself to anything; he was a brilliantly unique talent. Haines writing covered the off-beat and later on, the macabre (later song titles including "Unsolved Child Murder" and "Light Aircraft On Fire"), with the song narrative always being moved along with his clever wordplay and musical arrangements, in a quintessentially English style. He has been compared to Ray Davies of The Kinks in that respect. Perhaps too clever by half, eccentric in his subject matter, and intellectual (name checking obscure poets in his lyrics), Haines never really broke into the mainstream, Now I'm a Cowboy being the nearest they ever got. Addictive Bopping

Advantages: Fun for everyone, easy for youngsters
Disadvantages: Loud, hard to understand

I just bought this toy for my son this christmas and already its becoming a firm favourite as well as a source of extreme annoyance. ~What is it~ Basically its a battery operated toy that instructs you to either Bop it Flick it Spin it Twist it Pull it You have to twist, pull etc the correct extremity in time or else you're out. ~Modes~ Beat Bop - Here you have to pull,twist or whichever depending upon the corresponding sound. Unfortunately I havent found a way to find out which sound is which yet, so I'm basically out after the first instruction. Vox Bop - The easier mode, here you are told what to doing in words rather than sounds. The only problem here was at first it was hard to understand what the voice was actually saying. Review of Bop It Extreme 2

A wombling good time at Wimbledon School of Art.

Advantages: International students and extremely good tutors
Disadvantages: Not in Central London

Applying to Art School? Then I assume you have read most of the information on Central St. Martins, Goldsmiths, probably Glasgow, and maybe even Liverpool; but have you considered wombling off to Wimbledon? If not, then let me tell you of a few of the pros and cons of Wimbledon School of Art ( which is accredited by the University of London). There are two main buildings at Wimbledon; the Terry Bruen Building is just behind the theatre on Palmerston Road, and this is were you would have your interview and spend your first year, doing your foundation. It is the smaller of the two, but equally well equipped for all of your artistic needs.
