Advantages: The broadness of the music kept my interest throughout, they enjoyed being there! Disadvantages: None for me.
the end of the evening they had all sung either solo or with one other person.
There was no conductor, but they really didn?t need one.
The Music
As I just mentioned, the range of genres took me by surprise, as I was expecting something, well, more old school gospel. Although most gospel singers I?ve heard have beautiful voices, it?s not music I listen to often.
The Choir probably spent a equal time singing traditional African hymns as they did songs that I or my friend already knew.
The first half of the concert featured some wonderful arrangements, including a rendition of Bob Marley?s One Love which then slipped seamlessly into Bridge over troubled waters by Simon and Garfunkel.
The second half featured what was probably my favourite song of the evening, Peter Gabriel?s Biko. They also sung a beautiful rendition ...
Advantages: Elvis Presley singing some wonderful music Disadvantages: The tracks have been released and re-released many times over the years

Advantages: good mix of music Disadvantages: absolutely none!
I could not, even if I tried, write anything negative about this double CD featuring Aaron Neville.
This man's voice is phenomenal and wonderfully unique.
He is originally from New Orleans and has a wonderful New Orleans Rhythm and Blues sound. His voice will reach your inner being every time he opens his mouth and a note comes out!
There is a wide spectrum throughout this particular collection. We have the up-tempo and foot-tapping beat of 'OhhappyDay' & 'I saw the light' to the sultry, moody sound of 'Ave Maria' and 'Amazing grace.'
The rest of the songs included in these 2 CD's are:
What a friend we have in Jesus, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Morning has Broken, If I had a Hammer, Let it Be , Mary don't you Weep, Steer me Right, Gotta Serve Somebody, A Change is Gonna Come, I Believe, Let Go, Banks of the River Jordan ...
