Advantages: Every tracks a winner! Disadvantages: Not enough recordings included
...Excellent compilation, continuing the classic Motown Chartbusters series. This set glides you through some of Motown's most famous classics through the late 1960's through to the dawn of the seventies.
The albums opener is the superb The Tears of A Clown, one of Motowns definitive classics by the magnificent Smokey Robinson And The Miracles. Smokey Robinson had once been described by Bob Dylan "as the greatest ever living poet"! Certainly nothing of an understatement and this track remains timeless.
This steadily leads to the roaring War by the highly underated Edwin Starr. Offering (at the time) a controversial political statement this is quite possibly Edwin's greatest ever recording and certainly is his most famous and the landmark of his career.
Surprisingly The Love You Save by the Jackson 5 is more dated in comparison...

Advantages: Good tracks, bonus material Disadvantages: A few too many mixes
...Have already rated the previous album (put your hands up vol.1) and many of my points apply to this album aswell. After continually listening to the first album i decided to buy this one aswell and again i was not disappointed.
There is again a brilliant mix of tracks over 3 CD's including several remixes and club mixes such as that of Camille Jonesvs Fedded le Grande-The Creeps (club mix). This i believe to be one of the best but there are 62 other tunes that you will just want to get up and dance to.
Again, as like the previous album there is bonus content on CD1 including 3 awesomw music videos including Fedde Le Grande-Put your hands up and Alex Gaudino-Destination Calabria. This is a really nice touch to the album and makes it a real gem....

Advantages: easy to listen to Disadvantages: a few bland songs sneaked in
...the first volume was great so i got the second one too.it has loads of tracks, with a mix of pop rock and poppy/country style.names include jessica simpson, A1 and a lot fo american artist who are very good, but not really known in England. This shouldnt put you off however, it is easy to listen to time and time again.it is not as good as the first, but it is still great, even if you are not an avid watcher of the tv show. The songs that are faster are really good too....
