The book by Paul Britton The Jigsaw Man is An interesting book. It tells how an underachiever from a state secondary modern eventually became the best criminal forensic psychological profiler in the UK. In fact from reading Britton's glowing paean of praise for himself, one would be led to the conclusion that Britton was the only forensic psychological profiler in the UK. The book details in somewhat gruesome detail all of the cases that Britton has been involved in. By reading the book one obtain the impression that Britton single-handedly (aided or sometimes stymied by the police) solved a variety of high-profile cases from the Fred and Rosemary West murders, the murder of Caroline Osborne in Leicestershire, the vicious double sex-assault murder of Samantha Bissett and her 4-year-old daughter Jazmine to name only a few ...

The Secret River

Advantages: Great descriptions of the times, Australia

starts in London where Will is from and diaries his early life and then that of a worker man on the River Thames. It must have been an extremely hard time and one that we cannot really comprehend. The writer goes into great detail about how life was and it sounds so tough and dark but typical of the early 19th century. You get to see how the class system works and operates in that time and how family all work together to support each other, even at a very young age. I think the author really makes you like Will and not necessarily feel sorry for him as his life has been hard, but just wish him to succeed in all his does. Yes, he has been on the wrong side of the law but those were the circumstances he found himself in and he works harder than any other character I have read about so for sheer grit and determination you have to be rooting ...

Jean Paul Got To Have!

Advantages: Great long lasting smell, nice bottle

I was bought this aftershave for Christmas this year by my girlfriend. I liked it so much; I thought I would share my opinion of it with Ciao. Packaging Jean Paul Gaultier 'Le Male' comes in a silver tin with the 'Jean Paul Gaultier' label embossed on the front. You can pull the bottom of the tin off, and the bottle of aftershave sits in a stand on the base, which is attached to the base of the tin. Inside the top section of the tin is a white plastic section which holds the top of the bottle square inside the tin, once the bottle is back inside which stops it from rattling around and possibly being smashed inside. The bottle itself is typical of Jean Paul Gaultier aftershave and comes in their famous body shaped bottle. This particular bottle is in the theme of a sailor.
