Gwen McCrae (George's wife) was then chosen but didn't turn up for the recording session. George therefore recorded Rock your baby, which subsequently became a number one hit in Britain and America. How lucky can one man be?
Subsequent releases made less impact, especially in America. George nevertheless managed to make the UK top ten twice more (I can't leave you alone, It's been so long) and just missed the UK top ten with I ain't lying. George also had three minor UK hits (You can have it all, Sing a happy song, Honey). All these hits came in the period 1974 to 1976 and all except Honey are included...

Advantages: Some really nice tracks Disadvantages: Not what was expected, repetitive
...When the Cheeky Girls arrived in the UK I was quite horrified. My first experience of them was watching them dance around Saturday morning children’s tv wearing very little and singing “touch my bum”. As if this wasn’t bad enough they looked about fifteen and it was soon claimed that their mother was not only their manager but had written the song. What kind of mother does this to her children?

Money?
Sorry, on with the review eh.
