A String of Pseudo Pearls
Advantages: Excellent backing tracks, competent vocals, a couple of strong pop hits
Disadvantages: Not much in the way of soul, some dull tracks, all rather dated now

...that their compilation CD “A String of Pearls” had to be worth a punt if only to reminisce about my childhood. The album has 24 tracks, including all singles and B-sides the girls recorded. To the best of my knowledge the Pearls never released an album in the seventies so there are no obvious “album tracks” but there are several curiosities if you are familiar with music from the early 1970s.
