This is a fantastic psychobilly band who are particularly big in the US. This genre of music gets very little publicity which is a shame because if people heard these tracks they'd definitely be chart toppers, particularly 'miss take', 'Where they wander', and 'Julia'. Advantages: Great Surf From Outer Space Disadvantages: eXPEREMENTATIOPN AND NOODLING
This was the final release by outer-space surf visonaries Man or Astroman? before they went on an indefinate hiatus. During this period one member of the band has been researching bio-desil. Though there seems to be some activity by the Astromen as ther are locating video footage of themselves for a DVD release. What do they sound like well immagine what would have happened it The Shadows, Link Wray or Dick Dale had unlimited access to outer space ... ...start from there.....

...on soul music. A String of Pearls Going back to my dad’s old Sanyo radio cassette recorder there was a song which was oft played by myself back in 1974 called “Guilty”. Performed by the Pearls I loved it and have vague recollections of a Top of the Pops performance which incorporated judges’ wigs. I have hunted high and low for this clip on the internet and sadly can only conclude it was wiped, as so many “Top of the Pops” episodes were prior ... ...that their compilation CD “A String of Pearls” had to be worth a punt if only to reminisce about my childhood. The album has 24 tracks, including all singles and B-sides the girls recorded. To the best of my knowledge the Pearls never released an album in the seventies so there are no obvious “album tracks” but there are several curiosities if you are familiar with music from the early 1970s. I love Elvis Presley soooooo much. i'm even named after his daughter.
