...of ‘garage bands’. The first five tracks on the album scorch a trail through your brain and pass in no time at all. The title track ‘Thunder & Lightning’ with its bluesy feel and comic electronic bass, which simply will not relent its hold on you, is a masterpiece to behold. Follow this up with the violent and angry ‘Enemy’ with its sneering vocals and a Thor-like fury of drums from Paul Quattrone and you have one hell of an opening for an album. ... Read review

This cd is an excellent cd I personally love it! It's a Christian band that has been created for the younger generation! The band consists of four men who are called Nick Noble who is on the piano, Sean Welsh who is the main singer, Josh Cana who is on bass and vocals, and also Joel Cana who is on drums. The cd was released in 2006 and the cover is very good although the cd booklet just has pictures in it, it dose not have the words for the songs ...
...more or less straight away. This cd is all about Jesus although he is not mentioned very much the songs have a very good message in them! It's a mix between dance and rock! Advantages: 12 amazing, original punk rock songs

Off the charts is the follow up to The Briefs debut album 'Hit after hit' and unlike a lot of punk rock bands they havent strayed away from their original sound. A lot of bands veer towards sounding like more mainstream pop music after their first album but The Briefs still sound (and look) like they should have been playing in the 70's when punk rock was at its peak! There is a good mix of songs, with singalongs like 'we americans' and up tempo ...
...you dancing. There is even a cover of 'The Adverts' song 'Gary Gilmore's eyes' with the lyrics amusingly changed to 'Looking through Gary Glitters eyes'. ...in my CD player at the same time as boy band music and cheesy 80's pop. I'm particularly fond of Soul, Motown & Funk with a healthy dollop of Disco thrown in.
