I sincerely believe this woman to be an exceptional singer of the Carnatic tradition. not only does she strictly adhere to all the rules but has her own originality at the same time blended with an amazing voice. she is such a capable artist and has a huge range of voice and can use many vocal techniques in her singing. also, she adds very subtle nuances that make her singing an unforgettable experience. She sings not only popular ragams but also rare ones which maybe few people have heard of let alone sung. this is a really nice album relaxing but i would not really suggest it to a first timer to indian classical music as it is quite deep and you may not appreciate it fully as you will not understand the level of her singing and the dichotomic style of indian, specifically south indian/ carnatic singing.
