...Think of SteveHarley and what do you think of? I would have a pretty safe bet that you would say 'Make me Smile' or even 'judy Teen'.
Of course the great man has done other stuff since 'Sebastian' impressed the continent all those years ago but the album 'Quality of Mercy' is the first for twenty six years, and is worth waiting for.
And what an album it is.
The first track, 'The last Goodbye' was also released as a single later on in the year but with little success although I'm sure Steve's fan base shot out to their local music shop to buy it. It is a jaunty tune penned by himself and Jim Cregan.
'Journey's End' ( A Father's Promise') speaks for itself, written in Steve's unique narrative style, moving as ever and uplifting.
Following that,' Saturday Night at the Fair' is a lively love song about an established...

Advantages: It rocks Disadvantages: A few iffy tracks
...Have you ever been driving along in your car, on your way out/bak home in the evening and had Bohemian Rhapsody mamaaa-ooo-ooo-oo-oo-ing onto your radio?

This is a real classic song from Def Leppard. Steve Clark and Phil Collen are two amazing guitar players and did not let anyone down with this hit. The start is a piece of guitar music which I could listen to over and over again, the rest is not that worse.
9/10
9. The Troggs - Wild Thing - 2:34
A short and sweet melody from the Troggs. It is the original and best; as is so often the case; no other band has ever replicated the song as good as the Troggs.
8/10
10. David Bowie - RebelRebel - 4:30
This is a great classic song with yet another foot-tapping guitar intro. The lyrics do not let the song down, I personally think that this is David Bowie's best song, at least his best song guitar-wise.
8/10
11. Jeff Beck With Terry Bozzio & Tony Hymas - Where Were You - 3:15
This is one of two songs without lyrics. I like...
