...of pain - on which Richard Ashcroft topped the bill. He was a miserable icon for my generation. But his iconism is spoilt by the irregualr upbeat consciousness of Urban Hymns. The Verve have evolved, they're no longer paragons of beautiful epic tragedy but are now heading dangerously close to mainstream commercial indie nothingness. The Verve never belonged there...too much talent for that....its only a shame they didn't quit after Northern Soul, preserved something so blatently special to their loyal fans, and let Ashcroft go his owm way to create talented emptiness for the masses. Advantages: lovely music, and a very unique singing voice and style.
Disadvantages: none really, some songs can grow on some people but not me.

...have to be your best to too, they have a kind of catch to it and you will be thinking about the song long after. If you like the POP/ROCK/Indie music then i suggest buying this album, i cant stress that enough, the music is flawless and is very easy going. Fravorites. - Summer - Bastardo - Grey Will Fade - Paragon Sound ---- Charlotte Hatherley is part of Ash and has released her own single and album out to start her solo carrer, The music is a lot like Ask in the sense she came from Ash, if you like songs like Kasabian or Blocparty which are very unique you will like these tracks, i doubt you will be disopointed :-) Good luck buying, dont forget to post your review.... Advantages: Full of amazing tracks,cool elements that aren't found in others' music
Disadvantages: There are only 9 tracks in an album

...Dragonforce, Long haired boys,known for their killing guitar solos,effects,explosive drums are back with their sophomore 'Sonic Firestorm' after their 2003's moderate success of album 'Valley of Damned' Sonic Firestorm is actually a great album. They've kept their speed metal genre online in this album too,there are pretty cool tracks,like always their representative music,lightining fast guitars and earthshaking drums followed by ZP's powerful raw vocals creates a huge splash in listener's mind.Sonic Firestorm is a perfect example of extreme speed metal but it isn't really a paragon,it's adequate and original though. Herman-Li's lightining fast solos and Zp's powerful vocals has given their music a concrete shape! Dragonforce became the band whose song was downloaded most in Mp3.com which is fair enough and must explain that they play... Read review
