...and does seem to drag on a bit towards the end, Things are a little more upbeat for the next track, which seems to add a little rock 'n' roll into the mix. The early parts of "Where There's a Will, There's a Way" remind me a little of Chuck Berry. It doesn't have Berry's all out enthusiasm, but his influence is obvious. I like this song because it's so different to the others and really makes you want to listen to it again and again with its excellently harmonised vocals and of course, amazing guitar detail. On tour with Eric Clapton and Delaney & Bonney is a weird mixture of amazing guitar and powerful vocals, I agree but where does it make its impression in an already over rated guitar twanging, plectrum pluckitty plucking finger strumming rock and roll music. Clapton nails everything he plays and this time he experiments with some amazing sounds. Now, the clue to the date this was made is a simple mathematical equation, it has 8 tracks. ...
...it is a cash in on his name and the 8 tracks are very "root" rock, the Little Richard medley its self is worth listening to but more often than not you are trying to hear Clapton over the vocals.
