Advantages: easy to apply Disadvantages: those gloves
I have regularly used this product in particular the burgundy colourant. It was the first of the ''tone on tone'' colourants. It is simplicity in itself to apply - just screw the two bottles together and give it a shake then apply to your hair> This product is a little bit runny so I'd sugessted that you really give your hair a good towel dry before you apply it. Bog standard plastic gloves that are too flimsy so find your self some more unless you want dyed fingers! The colourant covers the odd grey hair well not to sure about it if you had alot of grey though. Conditioner sample that comes with it is best left on for a while longer than is recommended. Not a bad colourant if a little too unnatural in effect. ...
Advantages: cheap, easy to use Disadvantages: can be messy!
'm also not sure why I decided to use Loreal Casting to do so, but I did, and I'm really glad of it.
This was the first brand of dye that I used, and I was really pleased with the results. I have since tried other brands - Garnier Nutrisse and I think one by Wella - but I've always came back to this brand, as I find it's the easiest to use and gives the best and longest lasting results.
~~About the dye~~
This hair dye is a tone on tone gel colourant and contains no ammonia.
It promises to give Natural looking colour and ultra-shiny highlights.
This will cover first greys

~~Packaging and contents~~
This comes in a pink box which is very similar to the one pictured, although I believe the one shown ...
Advantages: Lovely hair colour, shimmery, smooth. Conditioning. Disadvantages: Application is a little annoying, price.
-permanent line of L'Oreal casting crème as I only ever dye my hair semi-permanently as I am too scared of something going wrong and me hating my hair forever. As my hair is so long (it would take probably 5 years to grow the colour out! Eeek!)
since Ciao doesn't have a separate product for semi and permanent this is why my review is in this category. Please don't mistake it for permanent, in fact, I'm not even sure you can get excellence crème in permanent; you'll have to do some snooping! I bought this product at boots and it's normally £6.98, which I think is a little pricey for a semi-permanent hair colour but it was a pound of so I got it for £5.98. To be honest, I think it's still worth the money and I will go into why in a while.
