Advantages: Some stunning trance anthems Disadvantages: One dodgy track
...--Introduction--
Ever since i first 'For and Angel' a few years ago, I have become a huge fan of DJ Paul van Dyk. He has been voted the best DJ in the world in a number of polls in music and DJ magazines and is held in regard among clubbers and fellow DJ's alike. If you ever have the opportunity to witness one of Paul's sets live, don't miss out. He is a truly amazing artist with a pedigree to be truly proud.
--Who Is Paul van Dyk?--
I appreciate that many of you reading this review, will not know who Paul van Dyk. He is from a small town on the outskirts of Frankfurt in Germany. He was born in 1971 and began his DJ career at the age of 17. He thrived in the up and coming techno scene that was sweeping over Germany. Advantages: Ozzes class, the talents of the band Disadvantages: Not the freshest album ever, none of the roughness left, just 11 tracks
..., and that there are some nice backing vocals, fair enough. I must admit that I like this song, this sounds nothing like “local boy in the photograph” but it has the same appeal to me. “We dress the same ways, only our accents change”. This could be a release, especially in the summer, and I can see why Kelly can’t wait to play this stuff live. This is the next single.
'Nice To Be Out' (3:08)
Another somber tune, but melodic nonetheless. This is a bit of a strange affair, Kelly just seems to be uttering lines that rhyme and at the same time be reflecting on the past, and based on these memories, “it’s nice to be out”, I think. More piano too, a few notes right at the very end.
'Watch Them Fly Sundays' (3:29)
Another slow song, “not thinking no more, not drinking no less, not sleeping at all never...

Advantages: Great sound, many upbeat tunes that make you feel happy Disadvantages: Mix of sounds might not appeal to all.
...the second song "Contraband" is probably the most punk song on the album. It has heavy guitar riffs and screaming vocals (and a few swear words), and is definitely something to rock out to. Another favourite of mine.
"Villains" comes next and is a real mix of sounds. There's definitely a country feel to the song, with some very fresh horns and some very punk vocals.
The next song "Silence" is a confusing one. It starts out with some horns and a very ska feel and really gets you bouncing, but then descends into screaming punk and loud guitars in the chorus. Maybe not one for those who don't like the punk sound, but I still find it's fun to bounce along to.
The title track of the album comes up next and is certainly unique. It's very hard to describe. Like the opening song of the album it's very slow and emotional, but has a very ska sound...
