Advantages: a great album for its time Disadvantages: not enough tracks!
...track "Smash", it has catchy lyrics and Dexter's vocal presence on the track yet again makes it stand out just that little bit more. "It'll be a Long Time" is a song worthy of it place on this release with its well written lyrics and catchy tune.
"Killboy Powerhead" written by the Didjits and now performed with The Offspring’s unique style makes a welcome break from the previous tracks, however I do see it as somewhat of another "filler" track.
The faster pace "What happened to you" could almost be turned in to an upbeat ska-punk song with its fast paced guitar and singing. "So Alone" is a slightly "crunchier" slower paced more punk like song with the somewhat not very catchy chant of "So Alone" in the chorus.
"Not The One" is a faster paced song with some more well written lyrics building up well to the final track "Smash", this final...

Advantages: Raw, distorted and very punkworthy Disadvantages: None, because it is music made for the right reasons
...guitarist, drummer and vocalist. Soon, they picked up the older janitor of their high school, who was a highly skilled guitarist, Kevin Wasserman. Due to his constant 'noodling' at his fretboard, he was christened 'Noodles'. Ron Welty then came aboard as an aggressive but slightly shaky drummer.
After releasing numerous independent singles, including the powerchord-ridden 'Born to kill', they signed to underground label Nemesis for their debut album. Advantages: Superb new songs. Disadvantages: Some tracks are similar to the ones on the last album.
...Conspiracy of One is easily the best album from The Offspring with 13 fantastic new tracks. It includes the chart hit Original Prankster and a bonus track from the film Huck It.
Once again, the album contains superb guitars and the fantastic voice of Dexter Holland. Each song has a really catchy beat which, if you are a fan will be played over and over. However, some of the songs are very similar to the ones on the other albums, and contain very bizarre lyrics!
Another brilliant feature is the cover book which contains the words to each song and has a cool illustration on each page. The album can be picked up for about £12.99 and it's worth every penny!
All in all, this is a fantastic album and a huge improvement on their previous album, Americana and its well worth the money!...
