epic, if somewhat disjointed show. From theDeep Impact-style meteor storm at the beginning and the end, to the interlude video depicting the guys as wayward pop stars disobeying their paternal manager, all the traditional theatrical strands of contemporary teen tours feature here. Recorded at the Sheffield Arena during the autumn of 2002, the show, like their music, attempts to be too many things for too many people. This being their first stadium tour, all eyes are on whether the boys can stand the rigours of performing live. They pass the test remarkably well, but their performance is weakened by the inclusion of some dodgy album material. The concert comes alive when the fillers and the thematic segments are dumped, and the four perform their biggest hits such as "All Rise" and "Too Close", as well as their covers of other people's songs. The 1970s funk medley midway through the show is excellent, though a little unoriginal. Beamed on to a massive screen behind the four, the recorded duet with Sir Elton for "Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word" works particularly well.On the DVD:One Love Live Touropens with an innocuous 15-minute overview of preparations for the tour. The audio-visual quality of the concert material is good, and the feature performance of "All Rise" can be viewed from five different camera angles. Whilst there are generous dollops of bonus material included with this package, most of these extras are pretty insubstantial. Disc 2 does however include the videos for the first three single releases from theOne Lovealbum, as well as an Easter egg bonus of the promo for "U Make Me Wanna" (other more conspicuously hidden extras are also included). --John Galilee

Advantages: A really good album. Disadvantages: A little repetitive in places.
The Blue Album – One Love
I’ve never been a massive fan of boy bands – but I absolutely love Blue! I bought this album as a last minute mad rush in HMV to use up a C.D voucher I was given for Christmas. I did like a few of their previous chart songs but I am not really a massive fan of cheesy pop music but this Blue Album is more R’n’B and was pleasantly surprised when I stuck this in my C.D player and heard the music ... ...another great song! It’s about one of the guys fancying his sisters best friend! “There was a girl I knew, she was more than beautiful, she had a mind of her own – 5 foot 8 or more. She was a real wild child and nothing could hold her back, she was my sister’s best friend so now you know where it’s at”. Written by the band.8/10 6. Right Here Waiting This one is about the guy finally realizing what his girlfriend ...

Advantages: variety of songs Disadvantages: some are a little too familiar
...including the three hit singles, one love, sorry seems to be the hardest word and u make me wanna.
*list of track's*
one love, riders, flexin', sorry seems to be the hardest word, she told me, right here waiting, u make me wanna, aint got you, supersexual, don't treat me lika fool, get down, privacy, without you, invitation, like a friend. Here is my opinion of some of the songs;
RIDERS - really good song very rnb typical summer feelin good play ... ...you may have heard riders.
One critisism would be that most of the album is repeptitive but I would say it is a nice change to the usual boy band albums! If you are expecting a westlife/boyzone style album then you will be disappointed as this is more rnb and has less ballads. All in all a great album and personally I think it's ideal for the summer my personal rating would be 10/10 ...

Advantages: sorry seems to be the hardest word Disadvantages: poor song writing
The second album from the boyband of the moment blue, is a bit of a sorry affair I find it difficult to believe that anyone but loyal fans could like it. The main offence is cringeworthy song writing (one love for the mothers pride?) which is shown on two of the singles "u make me wanna" and "one love". The only stand out track is the cover version "sorry seems to be the hardest word" an old elton john track and he guest vocals on this new version ...

...doesn't in any case make One Love undesirable, the opposite in fact, This album is a must for any big blue fan, and anyone who liked songs from them before.
One love has a different sounds from all rise the songs on this their second album being slower, more ballards and of course the collaboration with Sir Elton John. My fave released song is U make me wanna, their top ten hit released in march. Other songs include, One Love and Sorry seems to ... ...Track List: 1 One love R*

Advantages: if you love Blue you'll probs enjoy this Disadvantages: too many weak tracks for me
...though they failed in originality: One Love being a number one song taken off the album. Their prestige was concreted in the collaboration of Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word with Elton John although their input was fairly minimal and the sound little different from the original. For me there are a number of highlights, including the more powerful ballad of You Make Me Wanna with a catchy chorus. Blue excel in the upbeat tunes they perform: Flexin', ...

Advantages: Peter Greens skill is rediscovered in the form of Gary Moore Disadvantages: None
...I saw Peter Green & Fleetwood Mac in the late sixties and Gary Moore is the first guitarist that I have heard play his songs, where you could shut your eyes, and be transported back to that concert.
This is my experience of Peter Green and also Gary Moore whom I saw play "I loved another woman" at the MEN Manchester.
If you love good music albeit the Blues and want to hear it played by actual musicians then "Blues for Greeny" is for you.
To honour one of the guitarists he admires Gary Moore has stepped away from his own high class musicianship and produces an album of Peter Green songs six of which can be found on the albums "Fleetwood Mac" and "Mr Wonderful" (see my reviews on these albums, (Early and More Early English Blues) and also puts in some lesser known songs as well as "I need your love so Bad...

...ever, and was written to celebrate the end of the collaboration between Pink and her producer.
7. Cuz I Can - A parodic song based on attitude, taking the mick out of the 'gangta' lifestyle.
8. Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely) - Tells of the ups and downs of a relationship, and just how confusing your feelings can be.
9. U + Ur Hand - Another upbeat track (and possible future single) dealing with independence.
10. Runaway - Everybody needs to escape every now and then, and this song sums that up perfectly.
11. The One That Got Away - A blues style track, about the onelove that got away, but will always be remembered.
12. I Got Money Now - A bitter look at the downsides of fame: 'You don't have to like me anymore, I've got money now'.
13. Conversations With My 13 Year Old Self - A song partially written when Pink was 13...

...11. They Can't Take That Away From Me
---------------------------------------------------------
Not one of Sinatra's most famous, nor on of his better tunes. If there are any missing from this album, this is one they could have dropped to get rid of it. Finger quickly moves to <forward>
12. My Kind of Town

This is one of those songs you think 'never heard of it', but as soon as it comes on you'll be 'oh, THAT song'!!
13. Fly Me to the Moon

Not early NASA propaganda but a great love song and one of Ol' Blue Eyes' best song. Not sure what the chances of Jupiter or Mars are though....
14. I've Got You Under my Skin

Deep in the heart of me I know this is a great song. Another great love compilation track, it describes how...
