Katy Perry was unknown last year but now she has become worldwide known for her music and shocking actions. This fiesty american singer/song writer obviously bases all her songs around real life experiences, most of her songs being based around reading teen magazines, shaving her legs and boys, she manages to convey her emotions with a impressive vocal range, proving that she is much more than just a pretty face! Personally my favourite songs on the album are 'If You Can Afford Me', which isn't as arrogant as the title makes out it to be, this song is about real love and boys. 'Thinking of You' is different to all the other songs in the fact that it is quite slow and shows off Perry's amazing voice. I also like 'Waking up in Vegas' with its infectious tune and catchy lyrics. Overall, this album is very enjoyable and addictive, and certainly not just for girls!
