I myself as the title suggest thanx to this album am now in love with bonjovi, though i myself am 16 years old and had heard of bonjovi, through my mum obsession with vh1 and had there "keep the faith"``` album. because my mum liked them i was not going to admit that i thought they were ok.but now i am in love with them.
Bon jovi came to light to me again with their huge hit Its my life taken from the crush album. So i thought i would buy this album that would contain some of their "greatest hits".
The album itslef is a very good mix of lighter rock with slower rock songs, and the recordings of them live gives a atmosphere fo beign actually at their concert, and it definatly does sound like one wild night!
The songs on the album are recorded from 1985 -2001, all across the world, the tracks are.....
Its my life - one of my favourite songs , very upbeat and what interested me in them in the first place
Livin on a prayer - this is performed in zurich last year and definalty came from the 80's era.
You give love a bad name- an upbeat song with interesting guitar sections
Keep the faith - from the album of the same name,a wicked song that i love!
Someday ill be saturday nite - not as upbeat as its my life , a slower song with great lyrics.
Rockin in the free world- an upbeat lively song
Something to believe in - performed in yokohama, shows off jon's lovely voice
Wanted dead or alive - the lastest track to have been released and i just love richie sambora's haunting voice
runaway - one of bonjovi's original hits and is taking from their performance in tokyo in 1985
in and out of love - again like runaway one fo bon jovi's orginal taking from teh same performance
i dont like mondays (ft bob geldof) - from the performance in london in 1995, bob sounds great with bon jovi
just older-taken from the crush tour in november of 2000
something for the pain - an upbeat song with an interseting melody and mixture of instruments
bad medicine - on this track you can hear all of bon jovi and not just jon! good particpation from the crowd as well!
one wild night - a wicked song, which coincides with the title of the album and with this album , bon jovi would give u one wild night
i would recommend this album to anyone, not just ot bon jovi fans as like me , i have only just started listenign to their unbelievable good music, and it suits anyone with a varied taste in music.
as the good point about bon jovi is that in my opnion they are orginal and i use this album to show my dad that i dont just listen to people who are in a sense manufactured and cannot play an instrument between them as bon jovi are so talented and jon is so good looking, even though he is nearly 40,for a 16 year old girl like me i find him gorgeous.
another good thing to the is album is that it oly cost me 9.99 form sainsbury's, which is cheaper then most retailers around.
