Advantages: Great sound, value for money, major hits, suits every kind of mood/atmosphere, stunning art work, Disadvantages: depending on taste-- lyrics in spanish-- otherwise none what so ever
each with their own twist. For example those who are more into their heavy jazz and complexities within music, might prefer the album Oneness (which is one of my personal favourites) or perhaps Borboletta (absolutely beautiful music featuring Saxaphone solos etc). But depending on preference and opinion different Santana albums may interest you more than others. But what im trying to express is that Abraxas and Santana are "easy on the ears" for everyone, you can listen and not lose interest due to the complexity, it suits all kinds of moods and atmospheres, you can turn it up for a bit of a party, or keep the volume down low for a social chat with family and friends. this is the major adaptability of CarlosSantana's masterpieces.
Value for Money

Advantages: Great tracks and guest stars Disadvantages: specific music taste required on the whole
Supernatural is the 1999 album from the Mexican Latin sensation CarlosSantana. It is said that this album kickstarted his career after a faltering from the guitar supremo in the mid-1990s. It is a magnificent collection of music with Latin and Cuban themes, and incorporates the musical talents of modern genius minds such as Wyclef Jean, Eric Clapton and Eagle-Eye Cherry. Track 5 'Smooth', featuring the vocal talents of Matchbox Twenty lead singer Rob Thomas was a massive interntaional hit. The album itself has gone 15 times platinum, and has won 9 Grammy awards.
I really like this album, particularly Everlast's invlovement in track 2, 'Put Your Lights On'. It is of a specific Latin/Cuban style, though, and will thus will only appeal to an audience favouring this style.
These are the tracks:

2. Love Of My Life ...
Advantages: The album which set Simple Minds off on the road to superstardom, excellent cross section of material, the Title Track. Disadvantages: Price and Availability, no 5.1 sound (but see review), minimal info (there should by lyrics at this price!)
I first purchased this album back in 1984 on good old vinyl. Well I sold it shortly after in my great vinyl clearout (tragic or what...?) and had almost forgotten about Simple Minds. But as a direct result of a trial period by Napster, I rediscovered it and hunted out the Hybrid SACD version. As I don't trust the post, I decided to purchase via a normal retailer. Sadly Swordfish were out of stock and I had to purchase form Skanky Hoe (see my review on Virgin) in The Pavillions, Birmingham for £19.99(!!!). The secomd most expensive CD in my collection. But is was something special. Firstly i was going to get my ears around one of fave albums ever for a second time and secondly I was going to hear it in it's best possible format-Hybrid SACD.
