Kings Of Leon: Only By Night

Kings of Leon are a great band, I love their work, They are from Nashville in Tennessee and formed in 2000<[Thanks to the guy who pointed out my error i corrected it:)]
Their name is based around their Father and Grandfather, They were both known as Leon. The band consists of Four brothers.

This is a brilliant track, A great opening, you really hear the Indie genre come out in this track. It has been said that this is the song theme for the Film New Moon(woop!) which is released in November. The band experimented with this track and I have to say they did a good Job on coming up with some immense sound.

I love the beat to this track, its really catchy. The song is based on Anti-War and has a led Zeppelin feel to it. Vocals are great fits well with the beat and rhythm, Bass line alone is a little iffy to me but it still doesn’t affect the track to me.

I think this is my favourite track off the whole album, It is just ad good as ‘Sex On Fire’ yet it gets less credit, it is played frequently on music channels but people prefer that to this one, I honestly think if they repeated this track again and again it wouldn’t bore me because I do love this track and I think it should get more credit

This track starts off with a great rhythm that is slow but catchy it’s the type of track you could close your eyes to. I love the lyrics, very infectious.

This is a lovely song, I like the fact this band haven’t really switched tempo through out the tracks and kept it really, to one tempo through out them all. I like the beat in this track, I seem to find myself tapping it on a desk in school and the teachers find it annoying…because I tap beats all the time! If you want to see a different side to KOL then I recommend you listen to this track, its brilliant.

This is an awesome track, It has a great bass line, totally awesome and It is extremely catchy. The lyrics are great and sung with great passion, It sounds great live and I say if you ever get the chance to see them…go it is well worth it.

I have this track on my playlist on my computer so when ever I switch on my computer an play my music this is always one I listen to, its quite captivating and has a simple but god damn effective piano melody behind it in some parts.

Another track that is great live. I love the bass line It has its independence in this track an I think that’s great because you don’t get many song where you hear the bass line more than you hear the beat or rhythm of the guitar.

Closing track and I have to say what a great way to end the Album, I love this song live, it is so much better. I don’t know what it is exactly I like about this track I just love it, You have to listen to it to know what I mean, I find this one difficult to explain.

My cousins boyfriend lent me this album and he has very very low chances of seeing it again xD I love the album, it is really recommended and I must say I love it more than their previous stuff
