...Amazing guitar based blues-simple and memorable,Personally this is my favourite Rory Gallagher album/era and a great introduction to Rory's playing.As far as i know this is his first solo album. The track listing is One. Laundromat Two. Just The Smile Three. Hands Up Four. For The Last Time Five. It's You Six. I'm Not Surprised Seven. Can't Believe It's True Eight. Gypsy Woman Nine. It Takes Time The recording quality is amazing,For then or now.It was released in 1971. Every song has a unique feel to it and he gets an amazing array of tones and textures out of his strat.If you play the guitar and like the bleus im sure you'll like this album The album makes Rory come across as a very traditional traveling bluesman... ...Imagine bringing all the true classic greats onto one album; Vanessa Mae, Nigel Kennedy, Pavarotti, Leslie Garrett, Paul McCartney (no you didn't misread that last one) It should be the most phenominal album of all time, all these great names on 2 CDs, and in places it is, but there are some really odd, weird choices on this album that completely spoil it for me and in my opinion create an opportunity missed. The album opens with the amazing Ave Maria sung by Bocelli this piece always gives such a fantastic feeling of calm and serenity and always lifts any mood. There are some truly great tracks here and the highlight for me is Vanessa Mae performing Bachs Toccata and Fugue in D minor (The piece associated with Dracula movies) This piece is usually played accompanied by a full traditional orchestra or there is a great arrangement... Contacts need to be synced from your computer (easily done), you can set an alarm or a sleep timer using the alarm function where you can wake up to your favourite song instead of that horrible beeping noise most alarm clocks use. iPod comes with three games that you'll find on the classic - vortex, klondike and iPod Quiz. I've downloaded a couple off the iTunes site (£3.99 per game) but the game iPod Quiz that comes with it is really good - it uses your own music files and asks you questions about them.
