...Maiocco, who was a former bass guitar player of the band Vixen. They have 2 children. Steve Vai has used and designed an array of guitars and he has also worked with Carvin Guitars and Pro Audio to develop the Carvin Legacy line of guitar amplifiers. He has a custom-made triple-neck guitar that has the same basic features as his JEM7V guitars. The top neck is a 12-string guitar, the middle is a 6-string, and the bottom is a 6-string fretless guitar with a Fernandes Sustainer pickup That should be enough for everyone to know what sort of musian im talking about i think? . Now this review is focused on one of his greatest albums ever " Alien Love Secrets " so i'll get to that now. ALIEN LOVE SECRETS Steve Vai released this album in 1995. ...This album is definately a must have first of all. The album isn't quite beyond words but it is very much amazing. You know instantly as soon as you start listening to this album that a hell of a lot of work has gone into it, but then again what do you expect when it's Steve Vai, one of the most amazing composers of this day. Tracks such as Building the Church which is first on the album are definately things to make you consider buying the album. The guitar work which has been put together is phenomenol. One thing about the album which could to some be a downfall but i wouldn't consider it much of one is that on some of Vai's songs on the album his guitar sounds totally different and his playing doesn't quite sound the same in some of the songs. there are on the other hand songs where his guitar sounds different but the effects... Advantages: Very toned guitar riffs with loads of effects makes it spectacular
Disadvantages: Can be a-bit repeatative at parts

...and makes you want to keep listening and it only gets better as the crunchy guitsr tones meet the more exicting whamy bar action. There is just so much to say about this fantastic CD and the amazing Steve, Like all his music this is no different ,completely original. I love it as i play guitar and i am truly inspired by Steve and his band but also i like rock music in general and this Album shows some of the best rock music around Over all this is a 10/10 CD and even if you havent heard Steve Vai before you will still love it. I recieved it as a gift for Christmas after only hearing one of his songs "the audience is listening" and i play this Cd more than any other in my collection.Purely insparational. 10/10!!!!!...
