In 2001 they reformed and started playing various European festivals, this was shortly followed by a 3 album deal with Burning Heart Records / Epitaph.
This Scandinavian Leather is the first album to be released under that new deal and what a corker of an album it is. It starts off with Blizzard of Flames a easy listening intro and then straight into the first track "Wipe it Till it Bleeds" which has a relentless repetitive guitar riff which lifts you up and you just know that this is what Rock and Roll is all about.
The album is a superb mixture of Punk Rock with tracks like "Train Of Flesh" and "Le Saboteur" which take the Ramones Sound to another level. "Sell Your Body to The Night ...

Before Evanescence made it big in 2003 with what many think of as their debut album "Fallen", the band released this album in 2000. Back then, they weren't very well-known, and the album was only ever released in the UK.
I've loved Evanescence ever since I first heard "Bring Me to Life", and so after I'd bought Fallen, and loved it, I searched the internet to find out if they'd done anything else. I came across a few obscure mentions of a CD called Origin, but when amazon didn't turn up anything in a search, I gave up. Back then, you see, (and it's hard to imagine), I didn't know about the wonder that is ebay. Anyway, I digress. So I'd bought Fallen, loved it, and played it again and again over the following couple of years. Then, when I heard that Evanescence were releasing a new album in 2006, I once again searched the internet ...

Review of Duchy Originals conditioner.
I am reviewing the Rose and Mandarin version of the conditioner, there are several different fragrances in the range, but this review will concentrate on Rose and Mandarin only.
I was given a bottle of Duchy Rose and Mandarin shampoo recently by my daughter. She had bought it, tried it and disliked it, so passed it on to me, a few days later she turned up with the matching conditioner.
The Product
?A creamy, nourishing, protein conditioner made with organic Rose and organic Mandarin Essential oils? is the strap line on the label. Anyone who read my earlier review on the shampoo in this range, may recall that I was less than impressed with that product, so my expectations of the conditioner were fairly low!
